We’ve moved! Check out our FULL review here. Summary below.

The Nanrobot LS7+ is the latest flagship electric scooter by Nanrobot, offering dual 2400-watt motors, a steering damper, RGB controllable lights, a spacious deck, and a massive 60V 40Ah battery. In this review, we’ll cover what we loved and didn’t about the Nanrobot LS7+.

Pros:

  1. Color Display: The LS7+ features a modern color display, a significant departure from older scooter displays, making it easier to read and more user-friendly.
  2. Massive Deck: Boasting a spacious 11.5-inch by 25.5-inch deck, the LS7+ offers comfort during long rides, with a well-placed 7-inch kick plate.
  3. Off-Roading Tires: The scooter comes with robust 11 by 4-inch off-road tires, perfect for handling various terrains.
  4. Controllable RGB Lights: RGB lights on the deck, neck, and stem are controllable via a remote, creating a captivating light show at night.
  5. Steering Damper: Equipped with a steering damper, the LS7+ provides stability at high speeds, reducing the risk of overcorrection.
  6. Keyed Entry: Enhanced security through keyed entry adds a layer of protection.
  7. Unique Sound: The scooter has a distinctive, pleasing hum, enhancing its identity.
  8. Thick Stem: A robust stem design instills confidence in the scooter’s stability during high-speed runs.
  9. Tall Handlebars: With handlebars sitting at 41 inches from the deck, the LS7+ suits taller riders, providing stability at high speeds.

Cons:

  1. Weak Horn: The horn lacks the necessary strength to alert vehicles effectively during high-speed rides, warranting an aftermarket horn upgrade.
  2. Poor Front Headlight: The front-facing headlight is dim and shaky, often overlooked in scooter designs, demanding better illumination for night riding.
  3. Low Bottom-End Torque: The LS7+ exhibits a slower start with limited bottom-end torque, but makes up for it with remarkable top-end speed.
  4. Not 72 Volts: Contrary to initial claims, the scooter operates on a 60V system, which may have led to the discrepancy in the top speed claim.
  5. Top Speed Claim Adjustment: The stated top speed was initially advertised at 72 mph but was later corrected to 55 mph, making it essential to keep expectations in check.

In summary, the Nanrobot LS7+ excels in multiple areas, such as its color display, massive deck, and off-road tires. However, improvements are needed in its horn strength, front headlight quality, and bottom-end torque. While not achieving its initial top speed claim, the LS7+ remains a strong contender in the electric scooter market, particularly suitable for tall riders seeking speed and power. With Road Runner Scooters servicing Nanrobot in the US, the brand is expected to make significant contributions to micromobility in the near future.
