The VSETT 8 electric scooter is a budget-friendly but feature-rich option in the VSETT scooter lineup. It offers a top speed of up to 26 mph and a range of around 25 miles. Key features include adjustable suspension, solid rear tire to prevent flats, stem light for visibility, NFC card reader for security, IP54 water resistance, and an LG battery version. The scooter has an adjustable stem, locks when folded, and allows for easy tire changes.
The VSETT 8+ is similar to the VSETT 8 but with dual motors and solid tires for a maintenance-free commuting experience with added power.
Pros:
- Solid rear tire to prevent flats.
- Improved suspension over the ZERO 8, 9, and 10 models.
- Stem light for visibility.
- NFC card reader for security.
- Built-in kick plate.
- IP54 water resistance rating.
- Available with an LG battery.
- Adjustable stem height.
- Locks when folded for portability.
- Easy tire changes.
The VSETT 8 comes with a solid rear tire and a pneumatic front tire, while the VSETT 8+ has two solid tires. The front suspension is a C-type (swing arm) suspension, providing better travel and handling of potholes, and the rear suspension is adjustable.
Drawbacks:
- Smaller deck.
- Top speed may vary with rider weight and conditions.
- Lights may not be sufficient for night riding.
- Turn signals are not very visible during the day.
- The scooter is relatively heavy at 46 lbs.
- Pricier compared to some commuter scooters.
Despite a few drawbacks, the VSETT 8 and 8+ offer a feature-packed commuter scooter experience with excellent dependability, portability, ease of use, safety, and range. While no scooter is perfect, the VSETT 8 models provide a well-rounded commuting option.

Hi does the 8+ being dual motor make much difference to the performance of the scooter ,ie does it accelerate faster than the 8 ?
Thanks
J
Hi there! You don’t see a huge increase in top speed. You will find that the scooter will climbs hills and get up to speed faster. Thanks for reaching out.
Would you recommend Vsett 8 over Emove Touring?
Oops. I see you’ve already replied to my question. Thank you!!
Amazing review! Is it possible to change the battery in the VSETT8 from the 15.6AH to a LG 21AH or similar later on? (for example if the battery dies, or you just want more range)
I believe it should be possible, as long as it is the same voltage. I think the 8 and 8+ are different so you will want to double check on that.
