VSETT 11+ Electric Scooter Review

We’ve moved! Check out our FULL article here. Summary below.

The VSETT 11+ electric scooter, despite some controversy over its color scheme, offers an outstanding combination of power, stability, and design. With dual 1500W motors and a 60V 31.2Ah LG battery, it delivers impressive torque and acceleration. The scooter is quick and agile in sports mode, making it suitable for adrenaline enthusiasts.

One of the unique features of the VSETT 11+ is its blend of two suspension types, with front hydraulic suspension and rear dual spring suspensions. This setup provides a comfortable and stable ride, making it feel like a comfortable vehicle. However, it’s not the most nimble scooter, so users should expect a less agile riding experience.

The VSETT 11+ addresses some of the issues from the ZERO 11X and introduces several upgrades. It includes an NFC card reader for locking and unlocking the scooter, replacing traditional keys. Additionally, it has a turning range lockout to prevent accidents, and a two-minute sport mode provides a power boost when needed.

A standout feature of the VSETT 11+ is its tire hugger, which effectively protects against water splashes and adds to the scooter’s aesthetics. The headlight is notably bright, making nighttime riding safer.

However, the scooter has some drawbacks, such as not locking into itself when folded, making it less portable, and its heavy weight at 128 lbs. The charging port covers on top of the scooter may not provide the best waterproof seal. The turn signal indicators, although cool, are not very functional as they are located on the sides instead of the rear.

Despite the controversy surrounding its color, the VSETT 11+ has a unique and appealing design, with a well-thought-out deck, turn signal indicators, motorcycle-size headlamp, and striking color options. The bright motorcycle-grade horn ensures others on the road can hear you.

In summary, the VSETT 11+ is a high-performance electric scooter with great features, but it’s more suitable for those who prioritize power and stability over portability and agility. The controversy surrounding its color scheme might be a matter of personal preference, but new color options are reportedly in development, offering more choices in the future.

  1. Superb! How does it compare the Zero 11X though? I’ve been thinking about that one for a long time.

    1. We have not had a chance to try and switch it out. The Minimotors EY3 display is easier to see during the day but the stock one performed well. The display is also connected to the NFC reader so I think you would lose the ability to lock it if you switched it out.

      1. My primary concern use throttle response when I want to keep constant speed. I have a Speedway 5 and keeping constant speed is a piece of cake, activating cruise control also.
I’ve rented Zero 11x for a weekend and I have found out that this scooter is too wild. Start is smooth enough on 1st gear, single Eco, but keeping a steady speed seemed to be impossible.
That’s why I’m looking for alternatives for 11x, I’m looking for something punchy but civilized.
